Privacy Policy
K2K Studios · Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy covers Neon Stunt Driver and the other mobile games published by K2K Studios ("we", "us"). It explains what information is used when you play, why, and the choices you have. Published at https://k2kstudios.co.uk/neon-stunt-driver/privacy/
What we collect
We don't ask you to create an account with us, and we don't collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.
- Game progress. Your cars, upgrades, coins, mission progress, best scores, cosmetics and settings are stored on your device.
- Game Center / Google Play Games (optional). The game asks Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android) to sign you in, so it can unlock achievements, post your best score, longest run and most flips to leaderboards, and keep a cloud save. Your player name and scores on leaderboards are visible to other players as those services allow. The cloud save is a copy of your game progress (the same data as above, including what you've bought) held in your Game Center (iCloud) or Google Play Games account so it can follow you to a new device. We don't receive your Apple or Google account details; that data is held by Apple or Google under their privacy policies.
- Purchases. In-app purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. On Android, to stop fake and repeated purchases, the game sends the product and the purchase token to our server (a Google Cloud Function in London), which asks Google Play whether the purchase is real and keeps a record of it: a one-way hash of the purchase token, the product, Google's order number and the time. On iOS, purchases are checked by Apple's StoreKit on your device.
- Usage statistics. Google Analytics for Firebase records how the game is played, for example runs started and finished (with the score, distance, coins, flips and what ended the run), the tutorial, mission levels, cars and features unlocked, coins earned and spent, styles equipped, ads watched, offers shown, in-app purchases and a few settings (music style, graphics). It uses a random app-instance identifier, and records the device model, operating system, app version, language and approximate country or region (from your IP address). We use it to balance the game and fix what's too hard or too easy. It doesn't include your name or anything you typed.
- Remote settings. Firebase Remote Config downloads numbers such as how often ads appear and when offers are shown, so we can tune the game without an update. To do this Firebase uses a random installation identifier and your app version, language and country.
- Advertising. The free game shows ads from Google AdMob: full-screen ads between runs and optional reward videos. Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (on iOS only if you allow tracking), IP address (used for approximate location), device information and how you interact with ads, to show, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland (and other places where the law requires it) you're asked for consent first, and you can choose non-personalised ads; on iOS, Apple asks whether the app may track you. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
How we use it
To run the game and keep your progress, to provide achievements, leaderboards and cloud save, to deliver what you buy and stop fraudulent purchases, to see which parts of the game are too hard or too easy and tune them, and (through Google) to show ads that pay for the free game. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything else.
Legal bases (UK/EU): performing our agreement with you (running the game, purchases, cloud save), our legitimate interests (preventing purchase fraud, understanding and improving the game), and your consent where it's required (personalised ads, and analytics where consent is needed). In the UK/EEA your ad consent choice is also passed to Google Analytics.
Who receives it
- Google (AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Remote Config, Cloud Functions and Firestore, Google Play and Google Play Games), as our service provider and, for ads, as an independent controller under its own policy.
- Apple (App Store, StoreKit, Game Center and iCloud), under its own policy.
- Ad networks that Google AdMob works with, when they serve an ad, under AdMob's consent settings.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your choices
- Ads: change your ad consent at any time in the game's Settings, "Privacy choices" (shown where the law requires it); on iOS, turn tracking off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; on Android, delete or reset your advertising ID in your device settings. You can also remove the ads between runs with an in-app purchase (reward videos are always your choice).
- Game Center / Google Play Games: don't sign in, or sign out in your device's Game Center settings or the Google Play Games app. The game works fully without it (no cloud save, achievements or leaderboards).
- Delete your data: see https://k2kstudios.co.uk/neon-stunt-driver/delete-data/ for how to delete your progress, your cloud save and the data held by us and our providers. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device.
- Your rights: depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how it's used, or move it elsewhere. Because we don't have accounts, we may need your help (for example the date and product of a purchase) to find the data that's about you. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO: https://ico.org.uk).
Children
Neon Stunt Driver is suitable for a general audience but is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. Ads are not set up for children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Retention and security
Usage statistics are kept by Google Analytics for up to 14 months, then deleted. Remote Config's installation identifiers are kept under Google's Firebase retention terms. Purchase records on our server are kept for as long as needed to prevent the same purchase being used twice and to meet our accounting and legal obligations. Data held by Apple, Google and ad networks is kept under their own policies. Everything is sent over encrypted connections and stays with the services named above, under their security measures.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top.
